In order to fulfill the university’s continuing education plan for the 2019-2020 academic year and to ensure continuous improvement of the professional competencies of the university’s teaching staff, December 18–27, 2019, the planned courses of the Department for Advanced Studies of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel on the topic “Modern Teaching Methods” began.

In refresher courses, students get acquainted with new innovative teaching technologies and acquire the skills of using interactive methods based on modern teaching methods and technologies in the educational process.
The course program is designed for 72 hours. The following modules are considered in the course curriculum:

• Modern educational technology;
• Student-centered learning;
• Normative documents of the educational process. Modular educational programs. Organization and planning of the educational process at the university;
• Scientific and methodological work of a university teacher;ü
• Organization of seminars based on the use of innovative teaching technologies;
• Technique of using interactive teaching methods at the university;
• Using some methods of the technology “Development of critical thinking through reading and writing” in the educational process;
• Use of modern teaching technology in inclusive education.
