Research Institute of Natural and Technical Sciences IETP carries out planning of organizational, fundamental and applied scientific research, design and engineering, control of technological work, provision of measurement services and sales of scientific and technical products, in close connection with the educational process.

The main objectives of the Research Laboratory "IETP" are:

implementation of the Policy and Goals of SKU in the field of quality;

fulfillment of obligations in the field of quality and requirements of the quality management system;

planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring research, design, scientific, production and innovation activities of the Research Laboratory "IETP" in accordance with the main directions of development of the university and training of specialists in the field of technological machines and equipment;

formation of a thematic plan for university research based on government orders for fundamental research and applied developments in various industries;

development and implementation of scientific, technical and innovative programs and projects in the field of technological machines and equipment;

creation of information banks and databases in the field of technological machines and equipment, scientific, technical and innovative activities;

development, implementation and implementation of inventions, technologies, patents, copyright certificates, know-how and other objects of industrial and intellectual property in the field of technological machines and equipment;

provision of highly qualified services in the scientific and technical field (analytical activities, scientific and technical, information and methodological support and support of scientific, technical, innovation and investment activities, exchange of scientific and technical information, coordination and support of scientific, technical, innovation and investment programs and projects etc.);

Providing services for measuring hydrodynamic characteristics, parameters of heat and mass transfer and dust collection at semi-industrial installations in an experimental research laboratory using a water-air system and using real media

Numerical modeling of hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer processes and dust collection in gas-liquid devices

Hydrodynamic modeling of processes and apparatus

theoretical foundations for the creation of heat and mass transfer and dust collection equipment;

development of recommendations for the design and operation of industrial equipment designs;

The results of the research will be in demand at enterprises of the chemical industry (Aktobe Chromium Compounds Plant JSC, Kazphosphate LLP (NDFZ)) and oil refining (PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP).
