Congratulations!

         M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University together with the University of Minnesota (USA) passed a competitive selection for funding within the framework of the partnership of universities of the USA and Kazakhstan on the topic "Integration of English in higher education pedagogy: partnership between M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (SKU) and the University of Minnesota". The project is aimed at improving the curriculum and methodology of integrated teaching of English and STEM subjects.

         We would like to note that the American Council for International Education has received a huge response to the grants of the partnership between the universities of the United States and Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the competition, 37 applications were submitted, and only five were awarded (13% were selected). All applications were carefully reviewed by a selection committee that included representatives from the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of South and Central Asia, the U.S. Embassy in Nur-Sultan, and the American Councils for International Education.
