From 7 to 13 September 2017 the main office of the Confucius Institute and the University of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat (Thailand, Bangkok) in the framework of exchange of experience, effective cooperation and sustainable development was conducted by a joint conference of East Asian institutes of Asia 2017 in the framework of the " Belt and Road", which was attended by over 100 representatives from 30 countries of Central and Eastern Asia.

The opening ceremony was held under the leadership of Deputy President of the University, Rajabhat Bansomdejchaopraya (Thailand)  Virot Vatananimitgul. At the opening ceremony with an introductory speech by the President of the University, Rajabhat Bansomdejchaopraya Linda Gainma , The rector of the Pedagogical University, Tianjin (China) Jing Hongyang, the Deputy Governor of Bangkok Vanvilai Promlakano, Deputy head of the office of Confucius Institutes Xia Jianhui,  Deputy Minister of education of Thailand  Panadda Discole,  China's Ambassador to Thailand Liu Jian .

The plenary session began with the moderator, Dean of the Research Institute of the Pedagogical University of Beijing Bilan HU. In his report, Mr. Bilan HU gave the floor to the specially invited speakers: Former Minister of Finance of Thailand Suchart Thada-Thamrongvech, Director of development strategies of the office of the Prime Minister (Turkey) H. Khalil Aparata, The Rector of The University Of The Punjab (Pakistan) Zaffar Muin Nasar, Rector of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan state University. (Kazakhstan) Myrkhalykov Zh.U., President Of The University Of Dubai (United Arab Emirates) Issa Mohammed Bastaki,     each of them shared their experience of cooperation in the framework of the initiative " Belt and Road".  

For example rector of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan  state university Myrkhalykov Zhumakhan Ushkempirovich  in his speech noted «.. for the Republic of Kazakhstan project " Belt and Road" has a special meaning and that this initiative was fully supported by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Nursultan Nazarbayev, due to the fact that it is fully consonant with the ideas of large-scale national program "Nurly Zhol", which we are implementing in our country.  The foreign policy initiative of "Belt and Road" will not only change the economic architecture of the whole continent of Eurasia, but will also have a major impact on world trends in economic and political development.

Thus, it is possible to say that the «Belt and Road" becomes a project of global scale. The initiative of the Silk Road allows for a new positioning of entire regions, including Central Asia in a global context».  Also voiced the issue of personnel training and stressed that it should not only be professional and poly-lingual personnel, it should be specialists who are ready to work in a multicultural environment, know and respect the history and traditions of the partner countries and that universities could be a good platform for foreign language training.  A good platform for the training of such personnel can become a Network University of Shanghai cooperation organization, which unites 79 universities from 5 countries, also noted that the main task is to create conditions for interpenetration of cultures and the study of history.

During the closing conference was held the official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of cooperation between M.Auezov South Kazakhstan state university and the University of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat (Thailand).  At the meeting the parties discussed issues of further development of cooperation in the field of education and science.
