The event which was devoted to the 100th anniversary of the movement of Alashorda has been spent where listeners of faculty on work with foreign students and pre-university preparation participated in Abay library. There were invited  the associate professor of our university Candidate of Philology A. Kalshabek and the research associate of the museum of the victims of repression in South Kazakhstan Kasymbek for the event. They have noted in the reports that in the most difficult years of repression, especially in 1938, such heroes of the Kazakh people as A. Baytursynov, M. Zhumabayev, A. Bokeykhanov and many others have given the life for independence of the Homeland. And also G. Kasymbek has told youth about events of those times and "white spots" of our history.
In turn school students of school gymnasium No. 1 of A. S. Pushkin in an art form have told of repression of the movement of Alashorda. Then students of our faculty A. Amaliyat and T. Shynarbekula have sung the songs devoted to heroes of those years. And listeners T. Serik, Sh. Mukat, Zh. Toktasyn have shared the thoughts of national figures.
At the end of the evening the library worker of Abay T. Shatyrbekova has expressed deep gratitude to the management of SKSU university of M. Auezov, and the dean of faculty S. Alibek and has thanked all listeners for the most active participation in this evening. All listeners participating in this evening left with the raised patriotic spirit.
