Within the framework of international educational exhibitions - 2018, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for International Programs "Bolashak" from 22 to 23 January 2018 in Rixos Hadisha Hotel (Shymkent), an international educational exhibition "International Education Fair - 2018" , where about 100 foreign universities, educational agencies and high schools of Kazakhstan took part. The purpose of this event is to expand the prospects for international cooperation in the field of education with a view to further integration into the world educational space, popularization of foreign education, and the exchange of experience in implementing international educational projects. The grand opening of the exhibition began with the opening words of the Akim of the South Kazakhstan region Zh. Tuimebayev and the President of the JSC "Center for International Programs" J. Meldeshov. In his speech, akim of the region noted that the exhibition is an excellent dialogue and demonstration platform uniting specialists from all over the world, and also stressed that this is an excellent opportunity to establish partnership relations, exchange experience and identify promising areas for successful, fruitful work in higher education.

One of the active participating universities representing the South region was SKSU named after M.Auezov. Every day during 2 days of the exhibition, representatives of the University provided schoolchildren and applicants, as well as all those who wished to consult on admission and training in SKSU named after M.Auezov. Within the framework of the exhibition, training trainings on the topics "Innovative teaching methods" and "Double degree programs: the experience of foreign universities" were held for Kazakhstan universities with the participation of foreign experts and specialists, upon completion of which more than 30 teachers and employees of the SKSU SKSU. M. Auezov issued certificates of participation.

At the B2B meeting venue SKSU M.Auezov met with representatives of such universities as the Michigan State University, the Czech University of Natural Sciences, the Hungarian University of Veterinary Medicine.

As a result of the talks, agreements were reached on mutually beneficial cooperation between the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov and foreign partners.
