THE RESULTS OF THE IMPACT THE RANKING 2024 HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024 have been published, identifying and celebrating universities that are excelling in achieving multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
THE assessed 2152 universities from 125 countries/regions to produce an overall impact ranking for 2024.
26 universities from Kazakhstan took part. 3 universities were included in the first three (Al-Farabi KazNU -401-600, AlmaU and KarMU -801-1000). Auezov University was included in the list of 15 universities of Kazakhstan that were included in the group 1001-1500, the rest 7 universities of Kazakhstan entered the group of 1500+.
The ranking measures the contribution of universities to the socio-economic development of their countries through the prism of the sustainable development goals adopted by the UN until 2030. SCU named after M. Auezov applied for all 6 goals by which universities are evaluated and received rating positions for all of them.

The SDGs “Zero Hunger” - 401-600, “No Poverty” and “Gender Equality” - 601-800 were successful for the Auezov University.
The Times Higher Education Impact ranking is in its sixth year and clearly shows that the university sector has a huge impact on the world's progress towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
