Today, South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov hosted a special event for Knowledge Day. Faculty, veteran professors, and first-year students attended. Acting Rector Kairat Nurmanbetov met with the "Altyn Belgi" award recipients, wished them successl, and took photos. This year, 150 of these top students chose our university.

In his speech, Kairat Yenbekshiuly highlighted the university’s achievements and wished the new students success. Freshmen received symbolic "Keys to Knowledge" and "Student ID cards," and together they lit the Torch of Knowledge.

This year, 6,313 students enrolled, with 3,177 receiving government grants. Veteran professors also congratulated the students. The event ended with performances by students and famous artists.
