For acquaintance of the faculty of SKSU by M. Auezov with the new alphabet of the Kazakh based on Latin graphics, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of  Kazakhstan  No. 569 of October 26, 2017 (with the changes made by the Decree of the President of  Kazakhstan No. 637 of  February 19, 2018) under the organization of  Department of language development and faculty of Philology the informative seminar on a subject is held: "Latin – pledge of the perfect future". The informative seminar has been begun with an opening speech of the deputy director of  Department for the academic questions, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, associate professor Saken Pernebekov and the head of development of  languages Aktolkyn Zhamantayeva, then reports of teachers of Philological faculty have been heard: Candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor Akzhol Kalshabekov;  master, senior teacher Tolkyn Sariyeva; master, teacher Gauhar Amirova.

The participants of a seminar have acquainted with a rich history of the Kazakh alphabet, have obtained valuable information on his past, real and future, asked the questions interesting them on which exhaustive answers have been received. Besides, it is said that the National Commission on the translation of the Kazakh alphabet into the Latin graphics works in the following four areas: spelling, methodological, terminological, on technical and information support.

Nowadays preparatory work on questions of approbation is conducted, events for creation of the regulatory legal base and in general process of introduction of the new alphabet in practice are held. Also during this period rules of spelling and orthoepy of the Kazakh alphabet on Latin graphics are developed, the converter and IT-application for transfer of texts, information and literatures from Cyrillic on Latin are prepared.

At the first stage of the translation of the alphabet of Kazakh on Latin graphics the Department of development of languages provides the trainings intended for teachers of all faculties of SKSU that is supported and highly appreciated by participants of a seminar.
