LO1 Communicate freely in a professional environment and society in Kazakh, Russian, English, taking into account the principles of academic writing and a culture of academic honesty and decency. LO2 Demonstrate science, mathematics, social, socio-economic, cultural and engineering knowledge; methods of mathematical data processing, theoretical and experimental research and elements of economic analysis in the professional field. LO3 Obtain non-ferrous and ferrous metals and their alloys, applying fundamental knowledge of the physical and chemical laws of metallurgical processes, rationally using mineral raw materials. LO4 Conduct scientific research in the field of non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, using the methodology of modeling and conducting a scientific experiment. LO5 Develop technological regulations that allow the use of waste-free and resource-saving technologies and methods of preparation, processing of raw materials, pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy processes, expert research methodology, characteristics of raw materials, products and production waste. LO6 Manage the processes of metallurgical production in compliance with the sequence of technological stages, parameters and modes, organizing, coordinating and controlling the work of departments. LO7 Compile material and heat balances of technological processes for the production of metals based on a systematic analysis of technological processes. LO8 Develop comprehensive, energy-saving, environmentally friendly and safe metallurgical technologies with rational use of raw materials, energy and other types of resources. LO9 Design metallurgical enterprises using basic methods of calculation and selection of equipment, observing current standards, using automatic control and digitalization of process control. LO10 Conduct a preliminary feasibility study of design solutions by conducting organizational and planning calculations for the creation or reorganization of production sites. LO11 Use research, entrepreneurial and uncertainty skills; continuously improve their skills throughout their lives. LO12 Work effectively individually, as a member of a team, correctly defend one's point of view, make independent decisions of production problems, showing analytical and logical thinking |
