In November 2, 2019, teachers of the Department of General History and Museum Business G.E. Mirzamseytova, G.S. Baigunakova, G.B. Narymbet, M. Toyeva and A.T. Ilimova under the program "Rukhani zhanuyru" visited sacred and cultural-historical places of the historical city of Samarkand. The purpose of the trip: knowledge of the history and culture of Central Asia and Turkic-speaking peoples. During the tour, we got acquainted with unique monuments of ancient architecture, centers of national crafts, the mausoleum of Emir Timur, the observatory of Mirza Ulugbek. They visited the sacred site of St. Daniel, the architectural complex of Shahi Zinda, the city of the dead, monuments of medieval architecture, the ensemble of mausoleums of the Karakhanid and Timurid nobility. On the second day of the excursion, they visited the historical complex of the Bibi Khanum mausoleum of Emir Timur's elder wife, saw the pearl of Samarkand - Registan Square on three sides of the surrounding madrasah. Since 2001 Samarkand was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
