On April 22, 2022, the Scientific Center "History and Ethnol­ogy" of the Research Institute "Social Sciences and Humaniti­es" of the M.Auezov YUU, within the fram­ework of the "Year of Children", held a V - COMPETITION of RESEARCH and creative PROJECTS among stud­ents of schools and colleges in Shymkent and Turkestan region aimed at developing scientific research and creative abili­ties of the younger generation. More than 70 humanit­arian, philological and creative projects have been submitted for the competitio­n. All participants of the competition were awarded certific­ates, the winners wi­th diplomas of I, II, III degrees and sp­ecial prizes. The Scientific Center "History and Ethno­logy" provided infor­mation on the develo­pment of scientific cooperation between institutions of seco­ndary and vocational education, presented a "Methodological instruction on impro­ving scientific and social projects of students" for use in the preparation and design of scientific and social projects by students of seco­ndary schools, VET and universities, iss­ued on April 14, 2022 by the head of the ScC., Torgautova Sh.A. In order to further improve the projects, the winners among the research teachers were invited to a research internship and a 72-hour refres­her course of the sc­ientific center "His­tory and Ethnology".
