Because, no matter what specialty he has, in terms of spirituality he will remain a one-sided citizen» - dozens of years ago, Mukhtar Omrakhanovich Auezov said exactly this, which still remains true today - in the third decade of the 21st century. On April 22, 2022, a meeting between the director of M. Auezov memorial and museum house Diyar Kunayev and the leadership of the university took place at Mukhtartanu Scientific Center of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. During the meeting, the guest was acquainted with the work carried out and the long-term plan of the NC “Mukhtartanu” and other activities of the university aimed at popularizing the work and heritage of the Kazakh writer, playwright and scientist. After the meeting, a round table “I am going into obscurity or the influence of M. Auezov on the descendants of Abai” was held, where Diyar Kunayev spoke about new results of work on the study of the writer’s works, the activities of the memorial and museum house, etc. In turn, writers, linguists, historians and simply admirers of Auezov's work came forward with their opinions and wishes not only on studying the masterpieces of the writer-playwright, but also on solving a number of problems in this area.
