One of the most popular and promising trends in world education, one of the most notable phenomena in the field of online education is the mass open online courses (MOOK). This is a special type of educational Internet course, taught in a specific format on specialized platforms. In our country, such courses are conducted in 12 universities. The introduction of this system in the educational process gives us the opportunity to improve our position in international rankings and competitiveness in the education market.

In this regard, our university organized courses in the professional development for the faculty from 20.02-02.03.2018. on the topic "Mass open online courses: preparation and organization". The working curriculum of the course is scheduled for 72 hours. The program of the course covers the following topics: The stages of production of the MOOK. Create HTML pages, create videos, create interactive tasks, set course dates, analyze results and improve course materials, etc. The main goal of the course is to familiarize the listeners with the current state of the online education industry, teach them how to plan, develop, start and restart their IOOs.
