YOUNG SCIENTIST BEGINS DEVELOPING MODERN GAS PURIFICATION DEVICES
- Hits: 57
Young scientists of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University won nine projects as a result of the "Zhas Galym" competition. One of these projects is the work of a research associate at the scientific laboratory "Multiphysical Modeling of Structures, Devices and Processes", PhD, young scientist Abzhapbarov Abai Akylbekuly.
Abai Akylbekuly is engaged in the development of modern gas purification devices based on multiphysical modeling of the gas purification method. This method combines vortex and impact interaction mechanisms to ensure an optimal thermal regime in the contact zone.
The project aims to address issues such as low efficiency of existing gas purification methods, high energy consumption, tendency to generate waste, and unfavorable environmental conditions both inside and outside the plant.
During the project implementation, multiphysics research methods will be applied using COMSOL Multiphysics software. The obtained results may contribute to the further development of science and technology in the creation of gas purification systems operating in a synchronous vortex interaction mode of gas flows.
The scientific results can be used in chemical industry, oil refining, food industry, production of building materials, as well as in technological processes using gas cleaning and dust removal equipment.
Congratulations to Abai Akylbekuly!
Wishing you great success in exploring new frontiers of science!
