"GENERATIONAL CONTINUITY – A FOUNDATION FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE"

A meaningful gathering took place at our university today, centring around a powerful idea: the bond between generations is the key to a promising tomorrow. The event brought together faculty members, students and veteran teachers whose life stories and careers serve as an inspiration and who have played a vital role in shaping young minds.
Among the honoured guests were distinguished figures in Kazakh education: Nuradin Najmeddinovich Alibaev, recipient of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor and Honoured Teacher;
Bolatbek Makulbekovich Tleuberdiev, holder of the 'Excellence in Education' award, Doctor of Philology, Professor and Honoured Educator of Kazakhstan; , and Abila Kozdybaevna Kozdybaeva, Chair of the Shymkent City Branch of the National Academy of National Values, member of the City Council of Veterans, and Honoured Teacher.
'Our veteran teachers are living treasures. They lead by example. As President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted during the fourth session of the National Kurultai, “Our exceptional historical figures deserve to be remembered. Honouring their legacy is part of our national identity and a civic responsibility.” The success and growth of Auezov University today are rooted in the dedication of these educators, who devoted their best years to this institution. Their wisdom and experience serve as a guiding light for younger generations. Every word shared today was rich with meaning and every moment was a living piece of our collective memory. “This was more than just a meeting — it was a meaningful exchange, a bridge between generations built on respect, gratitude, and a shared sense of purpose,” said Ernur Imangaliyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, in his speech.
