NATIONAL HERITAGE: KAZAKH ETHNOGRAPHY AND THE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF ZEYNOLLA SANIK

Today, the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov held a meeting with members of a national expedition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous writer, ethnographer, publisher and interpreter Zeynolla Sanik. The event was held under the title "National Heritage: Kazakh Ethnography and Zeynolla Sanik - 90 Years".

Prominent poets, writers, ethnographers and public figures from across the country took part in the event, sharing their insights into Kazakh ethnography and the nation's cultural heritage. Among the members of the expedition were writer and Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Mereke Kulkenov, Deputy Chairman Galym Kalibekuly, academician, Doctor of Philology, Professor and Honoured Writer of Kazakhstan Ulykpan Sydykov, poet and advisor to the Chairman of the Union of Writers Amirzhan Kosanov, and Executive Director of the Zeynolla Sanik Cultural Foundation Serik Kaliyev.

During the meeting, Zeynolla Sanik's creative and social contributions were highlighted and highly praised, especially his contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and culture, as well as his outstanding personal qualities.

Undoubtedly, this event marks an important step in the revival of national spirit and historical awareness. It also provides new perspectives on the rich intellectual legacy of Zeynolla Sanik, a truly remarkable figure.
