In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Military Department of NAO" training named after M. Auezov", a paramilitary relay race was held among students of military departments at the University of Shymkent. The winners of the competition were awarded special cups and diplomas. Chairman of the Shymkent City Council of Veterans of the Republican public Association "veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan" retired Colonel Ombaev Serikbay Meirbayevich spoke at the event and called on students to be patriotic. On behalf of the Ministry of defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the Military Department, Colonel zh.Kenzhebayev, was awarded the Jubilee Medal "30 years of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
