On the occasion of the defender of the Fatherland Day and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Military Department of the NAO "reading named after M. Auezov", education of freedom-loving, high-spirited, proud young people who glorify our national qualities and national values, promotion of the main efforts of information and image work, the activities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the achievements of the University, in order to familiarize the personnel of military units with the rules of daily military service, on April 28, 2023, the Military Department of the NAO "training named after M. Auezov" held an "open day" with about 1,500 students of secondary and secondary special educational institutions in Shymkent and schools of districts of the Turkestan region. The students were presented with videos about the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University, military training equipment and training weapons of the military department, and booklets were distributed. During the event, students showed interest in the specialties taught by the University and expressed their desire to study at this university.
