Satisfaction of students with the living conditions in the dormitory of the M.Auezov SKU
From 26.09 to 05.10.2022 of this year, the "Department of Social Research" of our university conducted a survey on the topic "satisfaction of students of educational institutions with their living conditions in dormitories".
Purpose of the study:
The attitude of students to the social situation and living conditions in the hostel, its assessment, communication with responsible employees in the hostel, the socio-psychological situation in the hostel, the examination of the effective leisure activities of students, as this directly affects the quality of training in a higher educational institution.
Objectives of the study:
- Assessment of student satisfaction with living conditions in the hostel;
- Examination of the performance of educational work of students in extracurricular activities and in the hostel;
- Identify the most basic problems encountered in the hostel;
- assessment of the standard of living of students and the conditions of social mood for their educational activities.
Objects of research: dormitories No. 1,2,4,5 of the educational institution.
Method of conducting the survey: conducting an electronic survey of students living in dormitories. Survey question and answer.
General characteristics by object of study
During the study, 731 students took part in the survey out of a total of 1203 students living in dormitories No. 1, 2, 4, 5 of the educational institutions. The share of students who participated in the survey was 60%.
In general, 92.3% of the population is satisfied with the current situation in dormitories.
