Learning outcomes

LO1 Possess fundamental scientific and professional training, own modern information technologies, including methods of obtaining, processing and storing scientific information, know how to formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems, plan and conduct research activities in a chosen scientific specialty, teach in universities, successfully implement research and management activities.

LO2 Analyze current trends in the construction industry in the world and Kazakhstan, use the most effective areas in the building materials and products industry, independently assess key problems in the production of building materials.

LO3 Apply the capabilities of advanced scientific methods and technical means and use them at the level necessary for the prompt solution of production and technological problems.

LO4 To provide design, research, inventive, innovative activities with elements of the introduction and commercialization of technology in the field of production of building materials.

LO5 Apply new directions of development and achievements of science and technology in the construction industry, including methods of mathematical forecasting and modeling of processes, process equipment systems, as well as the creation of non-waste technologies in the production of concrete and ceramic building materials.

LO6 Describe the basic physical and chemical patterns of the processes of production of building materials, the sequence of technological operations with the appointment of optimal technological regimes and processes.

LO7 Own techniques for studying phenomena and processes occurring in a multicomponent system, as well as the conditions for the formation of new phases and substances; know the theoretical basis of the processes of hydration of binders, heat-moisture and high-temperature processing.

LO8 Provide technical and environmental safety, protection of human activity, legal norms and solution of economic problems in the development of regulatory documents, including in the state language, in presentations on the production technology of building materials.

LO9 Implement high-tech processes in production management and implement intelligent, previously unused technologies and equipment in the production of building materials.
