Training of an engineer technologist ready for production and technological activities, to conduct research in the field of creating new and improving existing methods for the production of building materials. |

The scope of professional activity is industrial enterprises for the production of building materials, products and structures, quality control of raw materials and finished products, laboratory tests of finished products in accordance with regulatory requirements, examination of the condition of structures and materials during the operation and reconstruction of residential, public and industrial buildings and structures. |
Learning outcomes |
LO1 Possess fundamental scientific and professional training, own modern information technologies, including methods of obtaining, processing and storing scientific information, apply knowledge of mathematical modeling in the design of production technologies for building materials, products and structures. LO2 Analyze current trends in the construction industry in the world and in Kazakhstan apply the most effective areas in the building materials and products industry; independently assess key problems in the production of building materials. LO3 Implement advanced scientific methods and technical means and use them at the level necessary for the prompt solution of production and technological problems. Develop technological lines and manage the production of building materials, including those from waste. LO4 Master the methodology for studying phenomena and processes occurring in a multicomponent system. To critically analyze the main physical and chemical patterns of the synthesis of building materials, the sequence of technological operations with the development of optimal technological regimes and processes. LO5 Practice design, research, inventive, and innovation activities, using elements of the introduction and commercialization of technology in the production of building materials. LO6 Use new directions of development and achievements of science and technology in the construction industry, in the systems of technological equipment, while creating waste-free technologies in the production of building materials. LO7 Assess technical and environmental safety, protection of human activity, legal norms and economic problems in the process of developing regulatory documents, including in the state language, when declaring the level of safety of technological redistribution of production of concrete and ceramic building materials. LO8 Implement high-tech processes for the preparation of raw materials, molding and heat treatment in production management and to implement intelligent, previously unused technologies and techniques in the production of building materials. |
