Learning outcomes |
LO1 - interpret scientific theories and concepts in the relevant specialized field of fundamental and applied chemistry; LO2 - to integrate the latest achievements of science and practice in the field of chemistry into the practical activities of a research chemist, a chemist-teacher to solve professional problems, incl. in a broader interdisciplinary context; LO3 - to analyze scientific information to formulate scientific hypotheses in the framework of their own research; LO4- to carry out a reasonable choice of methods, techniques, computer programs and applications of mathematical modeling and calculation for performing a scientific experiment, processing and generalizing the results obtained; LO5 - analyze and interpret the data obtained (process control, scientific research results) to substantiate their reliability and value in the framework of modern concepts and theories in the field of chemistry; LO6 Conduct analytical work with the involvement of information resources, using knowledge of a foreign language; summarize the results of the study in scientific articles, reports. LO7 Analyze worldview and methodological issues, incl. interdisciplinary nature, based on the provisions of the philosophy of science; apply knowledge of the methodology of scientific research in professional activities; LO8 - Carry out qualitative and quantitative modeling of a chemical process in order to establish its mechanism, ways to regulate it, obtain a product with desired characteristics or increase its yield, determine the optimal conditions for its implementation and control; LO9 - Develop a curriculum for the teaching of chemical disciplines in the context of modern achievements in the field of chemistry and the requirements of higher education pedagogy. |
