The newspaper "University" is exclusively a university specialized publication based on the Concept, approved by the rector of SKSU named after M.Auezov and the editorial board of the publication.
The newspaper has been published at the university since its inception.
The mission and purpose of the publication: to reflect the most important and landmark events of the Republic of Kazakhstan, significant dates and projects of the SKSU SKSU. M.Auezov. The pages of the publication find constant responses to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan. In this academic year, a special role was assigned to publications on the international objectives of EXPO-2017, the opening of which was held in June in Astana.

The newspaper "University" reflects not only the global events of the SKSU and publishes essays, articles and reflections on serious topics, promotes the promotion of human values, culture and science, but also conducts creative activities that are reflected in competitions, quizzes, cognitive trips and travel to amazing places of Southern Kazakhstan.
The publication "University" takes an active part in the republican contest of the site "Unique Kazakhstan" (Almaty, editor Svetlana Litvinova) under the title "50 names of the future of Kazakhstan", in which five students of the Small Academic Academy of SKSU became the main winners. Their names are included in the book "50 names of the future of Kazakhstan". The book was solemnly presented in the university and in schools where young scientists are studying, and the children themselves will be invited to a meeting with President NursultanNazarbayev. The book about young researchers and scholars was published in the country for the first time. Now the next issue is being prepared for release.
In the next academic year, it is planned to open new categories, organize cognitive competitions. The purpose of such competitions and quizzes, as well as publications in general, is the propaganda of patriotism, human values and knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan and the world.
