NAME: Master programmes on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Central Asia and Russia

 

DESCRIPTION: The global purpose of the project - to initiate and promote education improvement in the field of renewable types of energy and energy efficiency in construction for decrease in consumption of energy and minimization of impact on environment in the participating countries from Central Asia and Russia.

 

Specific goals of the project:

- to develop new master programs for renewable types of energy and energy efficiency in construction in the partner countries in TsA and Russia according to three-level system of Bologna Process and the European translation system and accumulation of the credits (ECTS);

- to develop laboratory components and experimental field tools on the basis of interactive educational process;

- to train masters in the field of the civil engineering, conforming to labor market requirements, standards and rules of construction and energy efficiency of buildings of the partner countries for ensuring sustainable power development and effective practice of using energy;

- to develop training courses for professionals in the field of applied power for construction;

to assist technological and scientific cooperation between universities, sector of construction and other companies concerning renewable types of energy and energy efficiency in construction;

- to promote strengthening of cooperation between participating universities from EU, Central Asia and Russia.

EVENTS:

 

     On November 26-29, 2012 to Lund (Sweden) passed starting 1st consortium of the TEMPUS MAPREE project. 14 partners participated in starting meeting from Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. During a meeting were considered the purpose and project tasks, the plan of work of the project is discussed, types of works between partners are distributed, project coordinators are chosen from each country. From the Southern Kazakhstan state university of M. Auezov the head of the department "Industrial, civil and road engineering" Ussenkulov Zh.A. took part.

 

    On October 13-15, 2013 to Bishkek the 2nd consortium of the TEMPUS MAPREE project took place. In the meeting Ussenkulov Zh.A the head of the department "Industrial, civil and road engineering" took part by specialist of the center of the academic mobility and international ratings Shakiryanova Z. During meeting the review of performance of the actions planned for 1st year was carried out, further steps on effective implementation of the project are discussed. According to the program the list of necessary devices for laboratory was made.
