As part of Science Month, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, held a meeting with young scientists.

The main goal of the “SCIENCE OPEN SPACE” event was to discuss pressing issues and strategic prospects for the development of national and university-level science, as well as to introduce the key scientific research conducted by the university’s young scholars.

Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ulanbator Suleimenov, presented the university’s scientific focus areas, while Director of the Department of Scientific Projects and Programs, Perizat Parmankulova, spoke about the main achievements of young researchers.

The meeting program was implemented in three formats:

Presentations by leaders of completed projects – grant holders under the “Zhas Galym” program, who shared the outcomes of their research. Presentations were given by young scientists: Bakhritdin Turakulov, Erkebulan Rayymbekov, and Aidana Utebayeva.

Poster session of ongoing projects – current “Zhas Galym” grant holders presented their research projects: Almas Uali, Aygerim Asylkhankyzy, Marzhan Syzdykova, and Bagdagul Serikbayeva.

Video presentations by grant holders of the university-level “Zhas Galym” competition, where the following participants shared their scientific initiatives: Eleonora Gabrilyants, Saltanat Sabyrkhanova, Erkebulan Tashenov, and Dilbar Urazkeldiyeva.

The meeting concluded with an interactive “question-and-answer” session, during which relevant topics in science and education were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, strategic tasks for young scientists were defined.

The event was held at a high level and became a significant platform for scientific dialogue and the exchange of experience.
